Broker's Comments

The Alpa 9 was one of many fine yachts designed by John H Illingworth, whose boats are well known for their good upwind performance and offshore capabilities as well as pleasing lines

The cockpit is long and deep and feels very safe and the decks are clean and uncluttered. The companionway hatch is offset so that down below the saloon has a large dining area which converts to a good sized double berth.

Throughout the boat there are lots of practical touches, an extra work surface lifts up next to the galley and in the heads compartment the basin retracts when not in use. There is plenty of usable storage including a wet locker, she really does feel like she was designed to go offshore

Above decks she has been repainted, below decks she could do with revarnishing but that won't stop you going sailing!
