Broker's Comments

The Rampart was designed as a a fine motor yacht, this twin screw version (TSDY) was commissioned for the Earl of Shrewsbury and completed in 1954. Her interior has been faithfully restored and now she offers a wonderful opportunity to own no 62 on the Rampart Owners Club Register.
Her pedigree is unquestionable and her exterior is to receive a freshening varnish and brightwork, alongside she exudes a graceful charm. Importantly, this ship has been the subject of an extensive refit, her engines, electrics and navigation suite are world class. We are privileged offer such a fine ship.
Designed by John Desty of Ramparts and built by Rampart Marine, Southampton
Ramparts built a range of motor yachts from before the war and were one of the last production yards building wooden motor yachts right up to the 1980’s.
This vessel has had a substantial sum spent on her, six figures and will represent an exceptional opportunity . A charming home or cruising vessel, with a style and quality that is immense.
New pictures have been added since the completion of the renovated varnish to upper structure and deck treatment. AND HAS NOW BEEN REDUCED TO SELL!!

This Rampart TSDY 47 has been personally photographed and viewed by Geoff Jaquest/Phil Berkeley of Boatshed Suffolk. Click here for contact details.
