Broker's Comments
Here we have a large Dutch steel cruiser built in Holland by Jachtbouwe C Van Meyeren in 2002.
This is a Funcraft 1300 steel cruiser bought by the current owner in 2021. She is a very nice and large vessel that does require some tidying up as the boat has been effectively not used for a year or so.
She was serviced in August 2024 and also had a stern thruster added to compliment her existing bow thruster.
She has folding radar arch and screens to aid bridge clearances and a large flybridge / cockpit area with plenty of seating and storage. To the aft is a large swim platform with stairs down each side to access.
Wide, safe side decks, with solid guardrails, flank the side walkways making this a safe walk-round vessel with large foredeck area with windlass and fender storage.
She has twin conformal solar panels on the forward coachroof.
Heading down the starboard side companionway you enter the very large open plan saloon and galley to port with washing machine. Ample comfortable seating and bright woodwork abound.
Under the three hatches in the floor is the extensive engine bay and services access and houses the DAF Diesel engine and systems. The diesel engine appears to start and run very readily and quietly and responds nicely to the controls.
The aft cabin is full size and width and has an island berth plus a full size shower and separate heads compartment. There is also a hatch to access the aft swim platform and plenty of bright wood storage cabinetry.
Moving forward is the forward heads compartment to starboard and ahead of that the forward cabin with twin berths. I believe this can be made into a double but was unable to check due to the stored items in this cabin.
Her paintwork is all presentable and in general she is only in need of a clear out and clean up.
This appears to be a spacious and well constructed boat that would make a great cruiser or liveaboard vessel. Her Boat Safety Certificate has lapsed but should be a simple matter to reinstate if required for your chosen waterway.
