St.Lucia Entry For Yachts
Well its been a long haul, but gradually we are seeing some lifting of covid restrictions all over the world, with some of the travel destinations tentatively starting to allow visitors.
Some Caribbean area's opened early such as Antigua and experienced some problems with air travel guests. However
St.Lucia has been slower to open its borders with restrictions, though entry by air travel seems to be constantly changing with varied restrictions.
There is good news however for sea port entry which has just been announced with regards to the yachting sector.
Sean Devaux Rodney Bay Marina Manager :-
"We have some further good news to share regarding the opening of the yachting sector; countries not within the "Travel Bubble" will also be granted entry to St. Lucia upon completion of the quarantine period"
So there is no quarantine for those arriving from the Caribbean "bubble" the list is below.
However Quarantine is still 14 days with PCR test prior to arrival for those outside the "bubble".
This is good news for those planning to put there boat ashore for the hurricane season.
Hopefully the number of cases will not increase and maybe things will return to normal in August.
