World ARC Finish 2026

OThe Circle is Complete: World ARC 2026 Crowns its VoyagersThe sails are finally furled in Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia. Yesterday, April 18, 2026, marked the triumphant finale of the World ARC 2025–26. After 15 months and 26,000 nautical miles, these intrepid sailors have completed the ultimate circumnavigation, transforming from coastal cruisers into world-class navigators.
While a new fleet (the World ARC 2026–27) is already well underway and currently navigating the Pacific toward Australia, all eyes this weekend were on the returning heroes who have just closed the loop.

A Global Odyssey: The Path to the FinishBefore the champagne sprayed in Saint Lucia, the 2025–26 fleet conquered the world's most storied and remote waters. Their logbooks are now filled with memories of:

The Galápagos & the Pacific: Early in their journey, they navigated the "Enchanted Isles" alongside prehistoric wildlife before the long, blue water stretches to Bora Bora and Vanuatu. The Great Barrier Reef: A mid-voyage highlight in Australia, where the fleet spent weeks exploring the world’s largest coral system. The Indian Ocean Sprint: Stopping at the isolated Cocos (Keeling) Islands and the lush, spice-scented shores of Mauritius before taking on the southern tip of Africa. The South Atlantic Crossing: Rounding the Cape of Good Hope and stopping at the historic outpost of Saint Helena, the fleet made their final run through the trade winds to return to Caribbean waters. The Grand Finale in Rodney BayThe arrival in Saint Lucia was anything but quiet. The fleet was greeted by a chorus of foghorns and cheers as they docked at IGY Rodney Bay Marina.

The Grand Prizegiving Ceremony yesterday was a night of high spirits and deep reflection. Between local steel pan performances and a massive Caribbean feast, awards were presented not just for speed, but for the camaraderie and resilience that defined the season. For many, the highlight wasn't a trophy, but the final "sundowner" on the dock, sharing one last story with the friends who became family over three oceans.
